Ferrari adopted the compact mid-engined berlinetta concept to the road in 1968, progressing from the 206 GT through the 246 Dino, 308-328, 348 and F355. Rapidly improving technology produced the 360 Modena and carried on at warp speed through the F430 to the 458 Italia, which overflows with Ferrari’s Formula One technology.
